The SOG Arcitech knife with Damascus Steel Blade and Carbon Fiber Handle - One of three SOG folding knives currently in the Arcitech family. To create, a truly unique experience and first for SOG they started with one of their finest knives, the Arcitech. Then they got their hands on a stunning Japanese Damascus that uses a core of VG-10 and 15 layers of Nickel and stainless steel on either side. The steel is forged and folded again and again to produce this striking pattern. Then finally the knife is acid etched to bring the pattern up clearly (carbon and nickel become black).
