This Elementum Button Lock is the second iteration. Compared to the original Button Lock, the knife is a tiny bit smaller. In order to open the Elementum II even faster, it now has a flipper. When the blade is closed or open, the button lock prevents movement.

*Note that the button lock is designed with a spring under the button to provide just the right amount of tension so that there is enough resistance to avoid accidental opening, while still offering the ideal amount of pressure to release the lock.
