Where minimalist design meets maximum functionality, the Pilar® is the perfect everyday carry folder with a sleek appearance and a fascinating story behind its name. Its subtle look when not in use contrasts with its powerful performance when needed.
Designed by Jesper Voxnaes in his Logstrup, Denmark workshop, the Pilar® is named after Ernest Hemingway’s cherished boat. Hemingway, the legendary author, used his 38-foot boat for daring missions to monitor German U-boats in the Caribbean during WWII. A WWI combat veteran, big-game hunter, sailor, and fisherman, Hemingway would have appreciated a reliable knife like the Pilar® for his everyday adventures.
This durable blade boasts a Black finish and a robust tip for detailed tasks. It opens smoothly from its stainless steel handle using either a thumb slot or a flipper mechanism and locks securely with a frame lock for safety.
For the modern-day Renaissance man, the Pilar® is the versatile knife ready to meet any challenge.
