This Schrade F17 tactical tanto fixed blade features a powder coated 6.3" 8Cr13MoV high carbon stainless steel full-tang blade and textured TPE handle scales. The blade features what Schrade calls a blood groove but really it's a convenient hole in the blade that doesn't compromise strength but allows for you to choke up and do fine detail work with this blade. The thermoplastic sheath is a friction fit model that is very sturdy and secures the knife well but allows for a quick, easy draw from multiple angles on the belt.
