The Army Private patch is a standard US Army rank patch used to denote the rank of the soldiers in the U.S. Army hierarchy. This is normally a Velcro patch that is stuck to the shoulder sleeve of a soldier. The Private is the first rank given to an enlisted soldier in the United States Army and is basically handed over as an entry level rank to a trainee who is about to begin his Basic Combat Training. These patches are shaped like an arrowhead shaped and has an embroidered olive drab background and a golden embroidered center which gives it a very authentic look and feel.
