Based on the top selling original Utilitac folding knife designed by Joe Pardue, this knife features a three-inch AUS-8 steel blade (7.125 inches overall) with a satin finish, an upgraded black G-10 handle, and Ontario Knife Company's exclusive Tactical Assisted Opening (T.A.O.) mechanism. The patent-pending T.A.O mechanism was also designed by Joe Pardue to be more efficient and durable than other AO system as it features only five moving parts – the opening kick is nothing short of impressive.
